Adding a Custom Search

Click the New button on the top to add a Custom Search string.

Search Name – the name of your search.

Search String – the string that will be used to perform the search. The {0} will be replaced with the search string entered.

Category – the category the search will be added.

Once you enter in the details, click the Ok button to add your search string.

Now you can click the “Click here to Go” link to perform searches with your custom search string.

Overview

The Research window helps to automate searches for information on the search term entered.

A list of common searches available on the left.

You will also be able to add your own custom search strings to the right.

Enter in the term you want to search on.

Click the “Click here to Go” link to peform your search for the term entered.

Your browser will show listings for your search term.

Getting Started

You will need to setup RAPKonect so it can communicate with your RAP Installations.

The first thing we need to do is set up the websites that will have our RAP script installs.

Name – any name that you want to use. This is only for organizational purposes.

Url – the complete base url to your website. Example: http://profittigersystems.com

Host – your FTP host that we will use to connect to your website.

Username – your FTP username.

Password – your FTP password.

Port – the port we will use to connect to your website.

Please note: RAPKonect requires FTP access to upload the API and RAP folders.

Once you have all websites entered in, you will need to connect the website to the RAP install.

Click the Installs button under Rap or Rap Pro.

Click the New Button to add a new Rap Installation.

Choose the Website that will be used.

Enter in a name for the Rap Install and click OK.

Now you are ready to start using RAPKonect.

Adding Paypal Accounts

Now that we have permission set up within our Paypal Account.

We will need to add that account to PayKonect.

Under the Home menu item, click the Accounts button.

The Accounts dialog will be shown.

Click the Add button to create a new account.

Is Active – tells Paypal to search transactions for this account. If Is Active is turned off, Smartflo will bypass this account when it pulls in transactions.

Account Email – your Paypal email address.

Username – the API Username from the Paypal API Credentials setup.

Password – the API Password from the Paypal API Credentials setup.

Signature – the API Signature from the Paypal API Credentials setup.

Click Ok once you have everything filled out.

Managing Websites

Websites, ftp details and database can also be managed using the Website module.

Under Home, click the Websites button.

Clicking the New button will create a new website.

Double clicking a record will open an existing website.

Clicking the Toggle IsActive button will set the Is Active field on all selected websites.
