While waiting I noticed that it's so annoying jumping through hoops to install plugins and only being able to upload one plugin at a time.
But also, waiting for the repository to load its images and then hunt through the lot to find what you're after.
So I made a plugin you'll probably use and never use WordPress plugin browse/upload again.
Here enters: BulkPluginInstaller
It will allow you to (option 1):
Browse for 1 or many zipped plugin files (like those you have collected over the years, or my esbplugin etc ) select a zip and while
holding down ctrl select 3 or 4 and upload them in one go.
Option 2 will allow you to browse the repository and return the list. Then you just click the ones you want, browse for some more, select them
and then install ALL those you selected. They will be installed and no need to install many plugins one-by-one-by-one yawn!!!
