Ive been researching software license management systems for software
including keeping a database of users/keys/rego and paypal details and i
am DEFINATLY sure ESB soon will be able to create something very similar.
With APIs coming later (to access paypal etc) and all thats needed is a MySql DB setup and talking
to our programs we could even sell such a system and boy, some of the HIGH prices
these companies are asking are crazy..$250US/month and even in the thousands.
But im not getting anything done yet cause i keep getting brain freeze with the possibilities.

Great idea and that is the type of stuff I envisioned for ESB. That is exactly why the API stuff will be a priority.

I have been talking this for years. I am still stack because I could not able to configure JSON in my website. I am still experimenting. I even remember encouraging Thomas to employ some licensing deployment mechanism so that we may subscribe from him.

By the way this is a very convent way for those who use word-press and want alternative way for software activation. You can read this and if you want to experiment with me please send pm, specially those of you with private level rights. I talked with the plug in developers and they told me it is good enough not only for plugins but also for software licensing.
