On Saturday 3 pm I got 6 teeth extracted as I am getting partial dentures so I got the teeth extracted,
came home, and numbing went away. I did not really feel any soreness, swelling, and bleeding stopped about 40 minutes
later...HOWEVER, at about 7 pm started getting a really hot fever and all my joints were really sore..I felt crap.
Same through Sunday...but when I went to work today I still felt fever and off color but i was thinking this was normal
with the extraction.
My work colleague said, to try a rapid antigen test (we have them at work). YUP....got covid πŸ˜…πŸ˜•πŸ€ͺπŸ™
That made sense as soon as she suggested it as I have never felt this way (or want to again) so here I am at home for the week.
Once I get rested, hopefully by weds I will feel better, and then can do some more esb stuff.
But...yeah, not a nice feeling. I'll survive. Be safe out there. I Definitely got it from the medical/dental surgery center as no one was wearing masks inside there and I didn't really go anywhere else.
So there ya have have it. LOL....Good night.

I agree with Mel. I tested positive a few times and actually never even felt sick. Just a slight cold. But it's different for everyone. Take your break and rest up.

Dang, going to the dentist isn't fun but coming out with covid is like a smack in the face.

Hope you feel better brother.

I don't think I've had Covid. At least never felt like I've heard it makes you feel like.

Get well soon, brother. Maybe trying this could help: Boil water and stay for a few minutes under the steam every two to three hours, using a sheet or blanket covering would give relief to congestion of the throat and nose (no chemicals added to the water). This is not medical advice at all; precautions and your discretions are appreciated.

Howdy Eyasu,
Fortunately, I don't have any throat/nose symptoms...mine are really weak and all my joints hurt. Plus had bad fevers but they have mostly subsided, which is great. The fever the first night/day was horrible but that's past. I guess as all say...rest, recover, keep hydrated and positive.
Thanks pal

The fever first two nights was terrible, now i feel achy and don't want to do much.
Doubled Vaxxed... isn't being Vaxxed meant to prevent getting it or just reducing its symptoms.?
Well...BOTH don't work πŸ˜΅πŸ˜…hahaha

100%, feel pretty good now. The only ongoing issue i think is the talk about 'the long covid' :/
Just the latest data on covid patients after a few weeks in that some still carry the damage sometimes for a month or more or always.
I hope I'm not that group because my muscles are really weak...they feel like when you do dumbbell lifts till your sore and that soreness 'stays' with you, even while I'm trying to sleep. 3 nights I've felt like that so I bought some supplements and eating big steaks and lots of water so that I think will pick me up again.
Not sleeping well and not eating much for since the 12th might be a clue. I feel a lot better even in that regard today.
I think I'll be alright, will take it slowly.
Thanks for asking everyone, I'm sure a lot of you have been there too. 😊
