Download Directory Builder

The Download Directory Action Builder downloads files from the current Ftp directory to a local directory.

Account – the variable that will contain your Ftp Host details.

Username – the variable that will contain your username.

Password – the variable that will contain your password.

Note: all variables will need to be set prior to this part of the script.

Remote Directory – set the path to the folder on your ftp host.

Example: If you want to change the directory to the folder “office” you would set the variable to /public_html/office.

Note: the variable needs to be set prior to this point in the script.

Local Directory – the variable that will contain a local directory path.

Note: the variable needs to be set prior to this point in the script.

New Ftp Connection – creates a new Ftp connection and sets it to a variable.

Open Connection – opens the Ftp connection.

Change Directory – changes the Ftp directory from the default directory to a specified one.

Download Current Directory – downloads the contents of the current Ftp directory to a local directory path.

Close Connection – closes the Ftp connection.

Append CharSet Text

Appends text to a opened file.

Click the Click for Options link to bring up the Options dialog.

File – the FileItem being used.
Text – the text to be appended.
CharSet – the character set being used by the file.

Result – returns true if appending was done successfully, false if it was not.

Write Text File

Writes content to a file.

Click the Click for Options link to bring up the Options dialog.

File – path to the file that will be created.
Content – text that will be writen to the file.

Result – return true if file was created successfully, false if it was not.

To select a File path, click the New button on the left.

File path can also be set using a Variable.

Navigate to the desired directory, type in the File name and click Save.
