Paypal Payments Script

I purchased a paypal payment script from someone who seemed to have disappeared. So I decided to just spend more of my time and create one myself. lol

Anyway, I think I am almost done. I was wondering if anyone else would be interested a script like this. I was planning on redoing the Konect programs including PayKonect (paypal). I thought being able to install the script using PayKonect and monitor your sales, on your webserver database, would be a nice feature. I can hook up the ability to create subscriptions through PayKonect. Also cancel subscriptions or do refunds. Maybe add the ability to send payouts to others(affiliates)? Though this script doesn't do affiliates, just handles purchases and subscriptions through Paypal.

I need to stop making more work for myself. haha

So you bought a RECENT script or do you mean that the script you bought,the dude disappeared a long time ago? seems to be the trend these days...like they just want a quick buck and don't care about support anymore..sad hey? :/

Qn? Would it be better to add that script on your server and use an API to access it that way? Then you could use it for all the programs?

I bought this script quite a long time ago. Then I upgraded and he disappeared. lol

I think it still works, though I don't know if subscriptions where working as I never tried to use them. Definitely older version of Paypal and not using their new Rest Api. I think Paypal deprecated a lot of the older ways to take payments.

Yeah, my script will be installed on my server and all transactions/subscriptions are stored in the database there. I create the products in my database and capture sales/subscriptions once the buyer completes the transactions. For subscriptions you still need to create billing plans on Paypal before you can sell them on your website. I can do all of the through the rest api without signing into Paypal.

I guess it's good to have all of these brainstorming ideas. You only need one or two ideas to pay off and become wealthy.

Finally got payments working! Got it taking payments and then redirecting to the new download page.

What a pain in the... I mean what a fun time that was. haha

Now for video demos and getting the next release of ESB out.

me? stuck on an api that's bugging me but I refuse to give up.
once it's done I'm gobs post the script / project here for others to see.. I think I know what's wrong, going to have MY SUCCESS on it this weekend, no leaving the computer till I do

As much as I hate to stop working when I can't figure something out, the best thing for me is to take a break and do something physical. Cut the lawn, help neighbors with a project. Helps reset my brain and I tend to come back and figure stuff out faster.

Need to do video demos of almost all programs for the sales page. I want to do more tutorials of the automation. I absolutely hate doing them, but need to do it more so I get better at it. I'm going to test out traffic generation on youtube videos as well. Trying to tackle different subjects and show how software can help them. Especially the automations program I will build to sell with ESB.

As much as I hate to stop working when I can't figure something out, the best thing for me is to take a break and do something physical. Cut the lawn, help neighbors with a project. Helps reset my brain and I tend to come back and figure stuff out faster.

Yeah, I need to do that too. My new job doing the Defence mail run is great but...its a lot of sitting on ya butt driving till I get to all the places to deliver it, so not getting as much exercise. Time to buy a bike (or borrow one)

Bike would be great, but don't forget some weights or anything physical that gets the muscles moving. We tend to lose muscle very fast as we get older if we don't use them.

Biggest impact of exercise and physical work has been mental. I'm just a lot happier. When I was consulting, I had to stay in hotels and apartments. It was killing me with depression. I should have hit the gym but didn't realize what was happening. I haven't been depressed since I started hitting the weights and doing physical projects. That is why I am hesitant about moving to another country again. I need to have some type of physicals hobbies in order to be happy. Love building software and all, but need a balance.

These types of resistant bands work really well and you can pack them in your luggage when you move to the Phils.
